Just wanted you all to know that I got a phone call from my endocrinologist and he thinks it doesn't make sense for me to have my cancer check up this early and that because the size of my tumor was small and my other exam had no signs of anything, he's not concerned. So in June if we are still not pregnant we will make a decision to stop trying for a couple of months and have this test. (At this point the next time we do this test he wants me to completely go off my thyroid medication, which will take a few weeks and then to go back on will be another few weeks. He thinks this method is better and will give better more final results. If at that point I am still cancer free then I won't have to have this test again for awhile)
All this to say... I have an appt. on Jan. 16 with an ob gyn and it's been a year since my treatment so we can start trying to have a family now! Don't worry I won't give you a play by play from here, just wanted you to all know that we have the doctor's permission.
